If it's a surprise to you that The National Dog Show will be airing on Thanksgiving this year, you are either new to all things NBC or you need my help. I've noticed that other networks appear to hold back their competitive schedule mailings until after they've seen what NBC does late on Friday afternoon. So maybe we have a Manhattan Standoff between folks itching to take off for the pub or the Hamptons once it gets warmer.
