The Players Championship golf programs on 5/13 & 5/14 were booked in APT with the incorrect local format (FIVE 1:34 internal station breaks). Per the PGA contract, in effect since 2007, only FOUR 1:34 internal station breaks are allowed during these programs, therefore one internal station break must be deleted. We apologize for this error. In order to make good your local units, an extra 1:34 internal station break will be added to each Senior PGA Championship program on May 27 & 28. Please see updated format tab on all four dates for details.

Dear 30 Rock,

Since you like to leave little gifts in our In-Boxes just before you leave for the weekend, may we have the audacity to put in a request?

It would be nice to know the full schedule for June.  Right now, about 20% of June primetime is still TBA.  It's easier to sell a program than it is a time period.  Maybe not for NBC, but for local stations.

No Fireworks on 4th, Says NBC's APT.

Regular readers of this blog will note a theme of astonishment when it comes to NBC announcing annual events.  After nearly 20 years of following NBC on a daily basis, I have my reasons.  Here's an example:

Has Macy's cancelled their sponsorship of NYC fireworks on the Fourth of July?

And then there is this paragraph:

Independence Day spectators from coast-to-coast can catch all the action in the sky by tuning to NBC’s two-hour national broadcast of “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” beginning at 8 p.m. ET (check local listings). In addition to the pyrotechnic splendor, the 4th of July’s most popular entertainment special will feature performances from the nation’s hottest musical acts.  Stay tuned for more exciting details about this year's display.

But as I examine the password protected full schedule site of APT,  on the Fourth of July, there are other programs listed.  I never reveal what's on THAT site..  comments made here are based as if all I had access to was the APT2GO website that has always been open to the public.
