of TRACK & FIELD on the following dates: 4/27, 5/25, 6/1, 6/22,

on the following dates: 5/19, 6/30, 7/6, 7/7, 8/24, 8/25, 9/8 and 9/29.

Titles related to Horse Racing that were originally scheduled under NBC
SPORTS SPECIALS have changed and are now under the main title of HORSE
RACING on the following dates: 8/3, 8/10 and 8/24. You can retrieve Show
Details by accessing the airings under this new title. Contingencies
have been updated to reflect these changes. Note: This is a title change
only; no other changes have been made.
This is a big deal for local stations. Previously, NBC labeled almost all of their "sports specials" with no identification of content in the Nielsen-supplied title. So, buyers and less-than-obsessive sellers really had no way of tracking previous performance or history.
In the past year,
there was a movement towards transparency in titling, but it managed to fade in time. This announcement gives me hope NBC will clearly label their "sports specials" in the future.
