Guess "Miracle on 34th Street" wasn't selling. Since diary markets haven't seen demos for Thanksgiving in 6 years, it's hard to tell what the historic delivery really was in this time period.
My clients have already been updated with encore estimates in a DVR world, competing with the turkey itself and football games on other networks.
Not to say that's bad; stations who ran a double-run of Macy's 4th of July 1 hour coverage in 2011 & 2012 found a healthy (or lazy) audience for the second hour repeat.
