Ok, here's a factoid you didn't expect. On August 28th, 1963, as Martin Luther King Jr. and hundreds of thousands of others marched through Washington DC on their way to the Lincoln Memorial, they walked through Washington Circle.. where a half-blind, white bread future ratings geek stood on the curb with his father and watched in astonishment.
I can't say I actually saw MLK. But as best I could, I witnessed a massive change in our country.
